I have acquired two Silver (830) shot glasses that are hand engraved 'MS Oslofjord' with the N.A.L ensignia in a flag. (Plus some other hand engraving) The makers mark is D-A for David Andersen a respected silversmith/jeweler from Oslo, Norway since 1876. I am trying to get some information on how these came to be on the ship; specifically were they just considered barware, or were they created as a souvenir? I am also trying to date them closer than between 1949-1969 when the ship sank. And determine a possible value. Any help is appreciated. Thanks very much.
