I, strangley enough, just bought 2 of them in N'djamena, Chad. I got them from a Chinese resturant and they said they are indeed hard to come by. The owner told me she bought them in Paris. : I have found similar glasses at shops that sell "oriental" gifts. The most common "disappearing" image is called "lithophane" and the image appears when held up to the light -- I'm not sure if liquid makes it appear or not...

I would love to find some of these. Has anyone got any ideas where I could possibly find some of these for sale
