What you have is most likely one of a pair of glasses (one marked A and one marked B) that was part of a Taste Test box -- but I have never seen the complete taste test box for non-reserve glasses.

The idea was that you fill one glass with Calvert and then the other with 'something else' and do a blind taste test.

These are from the Fifties, and are fairly common, but rarer than the 'reserve' glasses.

: Hello,

: I found a Calvert "A" shot glass that is not marked "Reserve." Does this help to date it?

: MANY THANKS!
