I started a project which involves Geographical Shotglasses (Countries/ Cities) and short fiction stories about various world destinations along with scenic photographs. So far it's on Facebook at www.facebook.com/worldbyshotglass as I am working on a website designated just for the project. I have so far posted Iceland, Greenland and Norway with Denmark in the works for next week.The plan is to post a new country every week. I am working in collaboration with a friend of mine and hopefully people will have enough interest to come back and check out my page over and over again. I also have a photo gallery on the same page on which I posted Austria and Belgium Shot glasses with many more countries/cities to be posted in the coming weeks/months. I have about 2500 glasses in my collection and have been collecting for well over a decade.I am not doing this for any financial gain....it's just something I wanted to do for a long time and hopefully when my website is up and running, it will attract some attention. Please feel free to contact me and I would be very happy to hear anyone's feedback/suggestions/criticism.
Last by not least, I just purchased Mark's latest (I believe his 8th overall book) @ Amazon.com and it's totally awesome. Great reference for all with very nice pictures and explanations. It's a hard cover and it's only like $30. Do yourself a favor and buy it as it would definitely be a great reference book for any shot glass collector. You will also be supporting Mark and his wonderful idea of having his database and this forum and maintaining this website where all of us benefit in one way or another.
