Thanks for posting! I am always looking for more information on glasses that I have or have seen, and I have at least two huzzah glasses -- now I know what they are for!

Unlike many collectibles, The world of shotglass collecting does not put much of a "premium" on having the "original box" or even "complete sets" (which is good for me since I collect sets in their boxes :) Also, most collectors do not seem to be interested in the ephemera (like your pamphlets and sign) that go along with some items.

What might help increase the value of these glasses is the "crossover" interest of people who collect old medicine memorabilia, but most of the interest I have seen in that area is for pre-prohibition items.

The average shotglass is worth about $3.00. Pre-prohibition pharmaceutical dosing glasses are worth $8-$15 each while pre-prohibition whiskey glasses start at about $8 and go up from there.

I would guess that your glasses are worth between $3 and $8 each, and sadly, the box, pamphlets and sign probably do not add much to the value

Let me know if you plan on auctioning them off as a set, I'd love to get my hands on them -- I am building what I think of as a reference collection, that can be used to tell who made a glass, what the glasses were for, was it part of a set, etc.

: I recently stumbled across a set of 12 HUZZAH shot glasses in the original box with huzzah coasters, informational pamphlets and a small sign for advertising. The glasses are still wrapped in newspaper from 1943 and have never been used. the glasses were to supply a measured amount of vitamin B1 and B2. Info claims this helps with "pink elephant's" (hangover) when takin with your favorite drink. please help me put a value to this set.
: thank you, Tony.
