The best thing that I have found for transporting shotglasses are tackle boxes. They come in many different shapes and sizes, and most let you customize the size of the compartments. I have used them to organize the glasses I find while on vacation -- you don't waste space on lots of packing material.
You can get small ones that and can carry about 6 glasses to larger ones that can carry about 50. Check your local sporting goods store, or eben wal-mart!

: there's tons of info about display cases, but I am looking for a way to carry my glasses around. it would only need to hold somewhere between 5 and twelve, but do you know of any carrying cases available (sounds like something Brookstone might sell)?
