Your average shotglass is not worth much, unless someone outside of shotglass collecting is interested in it.
Turning purple from the sun depends on exposure -- the more exposure, the faster they turn. Lots of exposure in a short time make it look old, when it is not.
Unless your glass's "maker's mark" is something you can find on the internet, your glass is probably not worth much.

: Found this old shot glass on a construction site in an old part of Reno, NV. It has been "sun-purpled", so it has a purple tint and no markings except one. Two dashes, like two tally marks on the bottom. It just seems old to me, smaller than any shot glasses used in casinos these days. Any ideas on age?
