I got started collecting the way I think a lot of people do-partying. I got my first few shot glasses in bars, when they would sell some new liquor and you got to keep the glass. My first shot glass was a Goldschalger shooter. Once my family and friends found out about my collection, they would buy me shot glasses from places they would visit. That was over 15 years ago. I have just over 550 glasses now, and traveling is my the main way I acquire more glasses.
