I recently purchased purchased a Maker's Mark bourbon shotglass. It's a clear votive shot with a dimpled bottom. It has a thick black measuring line all the way around the glass about halfway up. On the front is the familiar Maker's Mark trademark ( S*IV ). On the back is the inscription, "The Reverend Was Right." Beneath those words is the date 5/5/89.
I would appreciate any information that anyone can offer about this shotglass. I'm particularly interested in knowing exactly what it commemorates.
