: The Korean ones you have are definitely different from your average shotglass, but so are a lot of the random shotglasses you can get from a souvenir shop. Some have stems like a wine glass, some look like mini pilsner glasses, some are plastic, some are ceramic or metal. I think anything that can hold one swallows worth or less of a liquor, AND its primary use is to drink the contents all at once, classifies it as a shotglass.
