You need to look for then under the name "lithophane" -- add "geisha" to limit your search since most of the type you are looking for have a geisha theme

: They looked like unassuming porcelain saki glasses with a typical japanese pattern on the outside. On the inside you can see what looks like a clear marble in the base. When you fill the glass up with saki (or any clear liquid) you can see through the marble into a hidden picture! You can only see this picture when there is a clear liquid in the glass. Our shot glasses had rude pics (hot chick for the guys and spunky guy for the girls) in them so it was quite funny! I haven't been able to find anything like it since...
