Bottle caps that doubled as shots were common during Prohibition and the years immediately following Repeal. They were typically made of aluminum and came in two basic forms. One was a "slider" - a two part vessel that telescoped out from one inch to two when taken off the bottle. Brand information was embossed in the top. Then there were single-parters with screw threads and makers info in the cap and/or sides.
