I am not sure of an exact age, but they date to about the 1950s. The "F in shield" is the mark of the Federal Glass company, and they sold them in a set of 4.

These are quite common, and not very valuable, since most collectors seem to follow Pickvet's definition which does not allow anything with a handle to be called a shotglass.

I have picked them up for under $1 each.

: This morning I found a set of 5 shot glasses that look like very small beer mugs. They do have the F in the shield on the bottom and they maybe from the gem stone color set. They are cranberry/ruby colored on bottom and change to clear at top. The lady I bought them from says they are at least 30 years old. Can you tell me how old they are or what they are worth?
