This kind of glass looks old, but (most likely) was just made with "old" techniques.
Williamsburg Virginia has a glassblower who makes "shotglass" sized glasses -- he uses "period" techniques, so the glasses look as you describe, but are of current manufacture.
There are many similar glasses coming out of Mexico.
These glasses are almost impossible to trace/date. (OK, if you wanted to spend big bucks they might be able to do some spectographic analysis to determine what elements are in it, which might give a geographic location and/or approximate century, but even if it is "really old" it is not worth that much)

: I found a shotglass with the obvious scarring, on the bottom, from a glass rod from being hand blown. The dark yellow glass is about 2" tall and 1 1/2" at the top and 1" at the bottom. There is beveled impressions inside AND outside. There is hundreds of bubbles and other flaws throuout the glass. It looks very primitive. Has anyone else ever seen one like this? Can anyone give me more information? Is there any way to date glass?
: Thanks,
