I have a silver shotglass in the shape of a thimble. Being half german I knew that "nur ein fingerhut voll"
means just one fingerhat (thimble) full. It has three stamps in the side one is a crescent moon alongside a crown. I know that this means that the silver is of greater purity than 800/1000. Another is a rectangle with 835 inside it. and the last is a triangle with an "s" inside it. I am wondering if anyone knows anything about these stamps and if they could tell me the value of this shotglass and maybe an approximate date aof manufacture (it appears to be very old, yet is in remarkable shape).
I know that this design has been around for a very long time but I have never seen one made of silver or in german. ANY help would be much appreciated.
