These glasses are not "rare" and can often be found in their original box. They are not in great demand -- many shotglass collectors do not collect "glasses" made of metal. I have picked up a number of these sets for about $20.00. I think that many people avoid these sets because they are not sure if the "glasses" are solid silver or just plated.
I cannot tell you about who made them -- I've never seen a set with anything that would identify the maker.

: I have a six-piece boxed set of sterling silver shotglasses that I know where bought in Germany in the late fifties. Each glass has a raised emblem on it with the name of a german city underlined on it. All have some kind of animal under the line, for example one says BERLIN. I'd like to know who manufactured them and what they are worth. Anyone out there have any clue?
