How can I date these shotglasses?

I have three pestle shaped shotglasses found in a box of things from someone's basement. One is a smoky green color and one is smoky purple. The last one is clear with handpainted flowers with gold paint along the rim which is almost worn off. The glass on all of these is very thin.

There are no markings on the bottom of any of these. An older friend said she used to have some she's gotten as wedding presents in the 50s. But for all I know, these could be dollar store items. Does the lack of markings tell the whole story or how else could I determine how old they are?
