the H and anchor is Anchor Hocking (still in business)

The 12 is a mold mark -- for quality control

The 2 might indicate 2 ounces -- glasses that were used as containers for jelly/cheese/other condiments often have a "size" indicated on their base (clean out the "container" and you have a glass)

plain glasses are not very sought after and this glass would probably sell for $1.00 or less

: While clearing bush behind my house I found a shot glass that was mostly buried in dirt. After digging it out and cleaning it off, I noticed on the bottom the manufacturer's markings. It's an "H" on top of an anchor; additionally, the number "2" is above the anchor and the number "12" is below it. Any help identifying it would be appreciated. Mike.
