These are probably the glasses from a decanter set. I think that the design is VMC which also appears with the name Reims It looks like the new name is VMC/BSN or just BSN. These glasses are quite common.

: I have 6 shot glasses each with different coloured frosted base(from half way down|), with a gold rim on the top then 3 gold bands before the frosting the middle one thicker than the rest . The inscription says made in france with a kind of shield design imprinted with the initials M and a broad oval in the middle ( but it could be an unjioned C ) . Can you help me out with this ? tHERE IS a number on each glass .
