For me, it's a combination of all the things you listed. When I first started collecting, my main sources for adding to my collection were buying them from places my wife and I have visited, and from family members and friends. About 2 years ago, I started buying glasses off Ebay. I try to actively add to my collection whenver possible, but this year, I've sort of slacked off. Have only bought 3 so far.
