One of the terms for this type of glass is "ruby flashed." This is a rather common souvenir for the time period. In addition to being from cities that were tourist destinations they can be found for state fairs and other events that would draw a crowd.

Their value varies depending on the condition of the area that is red -- it scratches easily. Most of the good condition glasses that I have seen are in the $20-$30 range. I am not sure if there is much of a market that pays more for a specific city name.

: I have a shot glass that is cut glass on bottom and red coloring on top half, it is enscribed henrietta from atlantic city 1897. can anyone help to i.d.?
