This sounds like what you have is a "Tall" glass also known as a "Shooter" (but of course, Libbey has their own name -- they call it a "cordial")
These are made by many companies, and are fairly common. The different manufacturers have slight variationsin their designs. This is also a fairly new design, first appearing in the early 1990's. The most famous use of these glasses if by the Hard Rock Cafe.
