: I started collecting shotglasses because they were small and inexpensive. I did
: not have much money, nor much room to keep a collection, so they were the
: perfect item to collect. As I built my collection, I wanted to know more about
: collecting shotglasses, and when I found out there was not much information
: about the topic, it inspired me to learn more. As I learned more, I started
: building this site, to share what I had learned.

: Why do you collect them?

: Mark

I started collecting STATE shot glasses many years ago. Friends would go on vacation and ask me what I would like to have for a souvinir from the State that they were visiting. I was taken with shot glasses. In particular I collect State shot glasses that have either and outline of the state or a picture with city names on the state. It seems they are sometimes hard to collect. Anyone who knows how to collect these particular ones would help me out quit a bit....because all of my friends have told me that I have given them something to do while they are visiting....but it becomes a desparate struggle at times to find the RIGHT ONE or RIGHT TYPE....I collect Standard shapes, only. This seemed all too easy at first but I found out differently. Oh, and BTW, to the person who has all these shotglasses listed here on this site...do you SELL any of these shotglasses or are you just posting your collection?
