This is a great question. My guess is that it varies from one collector to another. Personally I feel that if it took any variance during the manufacturing process then it is not a duplicate. For example, I have a set of plain shot glasses that come in six different colors. I call them all different. I even have state glasses with the exact same design BUT the color is different. I see no difference between the two examples. Of course the Guiness Book may think differently. But who cares..I am having fun!
