: Great information Dave. I have the ones you are talking about I think. But my "Long Shot" is a horse's head, my "Good Shot" is Santa, my "shot to hell" is the devil, and I have two double shots and they both have different faces. Is there a difference between the ones that have JAPAN printed on the bottom or JAPAN embedded in the glaze? All of then are brown pottery.
--Hi Paul,My "gunshot"is a gun and my shot to hell" is also a devil. I think there are about three of these sets. I have parts of two others. I have 6 with"Japan" in glaze on the back and 5 with"Japan" on the bottom. Some have different expressions and are also a lighter shade of brown. Are you a collector? where in the world are you? I'm in Nova Scotia. Dave G.
