this page Pickvet's definition is a definition "by form" (what does the glass look like) and it is a rather old definition. Following his definition, the tall thin "shooters" from the Hard Rock are not shotglasses (yet he include 14 ounce Jumbo glasses in his books -- are they shotglasses or not?
