The "classic" version of this is made by a german company called Rosenthal and people call the glass a Rosenthal egg.
The top of the glass is angled, so that when the glass is full and leaning on the side, the opening is now parallel to the tabletop.

There are copies of it out there, and a number of alcohol companies have put a logo on a similar glass that they call a spinner.

Hope this helps

: Does anyone know where I can find a "rolling" shot glass - where the bottom is a 1/2 ball, and the top is cut diagonally?

: I saw it in a movie, but don't know where to start looking to find one of my own.

: Any leads would be helpful - I'm a little out of my element here.

: Thanks!
