Poole was a metal company in Taunton, MA in the early and mid 1900s. It was actually my great-grandfather that last owned and ran the company. I'll see what I can find out about the significance of the cow's head if you're still interested. Let me know and I can ask my mom if she recalls the significance. She usually remembers something about the Poole Pewter pieces I find.

: i have a pewter shot glass with a cow's head at the base. on the base it is marked POOLE 2193. if anyone has any information about the worth or origin please email me.
