Hi. I can't tell you anything about your shot glass/bud vase. However my father in law has me searching for a "Foolers" Shot glass. A Foolers shot glass is often mistaken for a flower vase. I'm curious as to maybe this is what you have. He sent me a copy of an original add from many many years back. This add describes them to be about 5 1/2 inches tall with a rimmed stemed bottom. The inside is thick in glass but still only holds one shot. This is why it is called "Foolers". It appears that you have much more than just one shot. This could possible be what you have.
