It all started on a trip out west when I was a kid. We stopped in an antique shop to browse around and I spotted a thin walled shot glass advertising "Sunnybrook the Pure Food Whisky" it pictured a comic charecter wearing a hat labled "Inspector". I was hooked! From that point on at every flea market, antique show, or yard sale I looked for pre-prohibition shots with etched advertisment. As prices started to climb through the early eighties, I backed off the shots and concentrated on my Czech art glass and glass house whimseys. What brought me to your web site, aside from admiration of your book, was a find this past weekend of a nice early Phila. glass with "dirigo" rye in white lettering. It was only $20 and re-kindled the idea that good buys are still to be found!! Kevin
