I do not believe that these have anything to do with the Kentucky Derby. Libbey has a number of sets of glassware that have a "Fox Hunting" theme, and you have one of these designs.

They are not rare, and usually sell for around $3-5 each, maybe more to a serious Libbey collector.

: yes i have 7 shot glasses barrel shape with a design of a red whip, red jockey hat, white bugle and black stirrups, i was told these were old libbey glasses, each one has a script uppercase "L" in a circle, backwards when viewed from the base. could you tell me if these are old and maybe the price value on them and if they were made for the kentucky derby or anything like that. i live in kentucky and was told that they may have something to do with a derby. thanks estelle
